Frequently Asked Questions

Who do I work with? I work with complete beginners who have never stepped foot in a gym, as well as women wanting specialised support through pre and postnatal exercise, menopause, and beyond. Much of my work focuses on building strength to prevent frailty and support healthy ageing.

Why should I strength train? Women are finally becoming more represented in scientific research, and what we are seeing is clear. Strength training plays a major role in better ageing, improved cognitive function, reduced risk of metabolic disease, and the prevention of osteoporosis. Building and maintaining muscle and bone is one of the most powerful ways to support long term health, and both can be developed through structured training in the gym.

How many sessions should I do per week? If your goal is to improve strength and build muscle, a minimum of two sessions per week is a great starting point for most beginners. For many people, three sessions per week is the ideal balance for consistent progress.

Do you offer exercise programming? Yes. For anyone who wants guidance outside of personal training sessions, I offer customised exercise programming delivered through an app. This includes structured workouts tailored to your goals and progress, and costs $90 per month.

What is the cost of personal training? Depending on session length and the level of support you need, personal training sessions range from $80 to $120.

Do I have to sign up for a locked in period? No. However, building strength and muscle takes consistency and time. Meaningful progress typically takes around 8 to 12 weeks of regular training.
